KWAZULU-NATAL – Julius Malema has once again claimed that Donald Trump and Elon Musk are scared of him. The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters made the comments during Youth Day celebrations on 16 June 2025 in Umlazi. The party held its celebrations at the King Zwelithini Stadium, where Malema once again turned his attention to the United States of America President and the world’s richest man. Malema targets Trump, Starlink, and Musk.
The leader of the Red Berets once more focused on the US President and the Tesla owner during his speech. Since they both claimed that terrible things were taking place in the country, Malema has been at odds with the two. Additionally, Malema was previously branded a global criminal by Musk. Malema claimed in his speech that Musk and Trump were both afraid of the EFF. He then turned to himself and said that the company would never exist in South Africa if it refused to follow the law. Musk previously stated that he wasn’t allowed a license to operate in the country because he wasn’t black.
