JOHANNESBURG - The Chief Justice has clapped back at the KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. Justice Mandisa Maya says Mkhwanazi's claims of collusion between the judiciary and criminals are extremely damaging to public confidence in the independence and integrity of the courts. She says the accusation has not been substantiated, and asked the National or Provincial police commissioner to provide evidence to support such claims.
