The official announcement of the results of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and matric examinations for 2025 will take place on Monday, January 12, at the Department of Basic Education, which is headed by Minister Siviwe Gwarube and Deputy Minister Dr. Reginah Mhaule. Over 920 000 South African candidates participated in the 2025 NSC examination cycle, making it one of South Africa's largest national assessment processes.
